Habit Tracker is designed to keep your habit information on your device. In the current version, the app does not require an account and does not send habit names, notes, schedules, completion history, or reminder settings to a server operated by the developer. The app does not include advertising or analytics services in this version.
The app stores the information you enter, which may include habit names, icons, categories, notes, schedules, reminder times, completion history, and archive status. This information is used to display and operate the habit tracker and calculate your progress insights.
This information is stored locally by the app on your device. The developer does not receive it through a Habit Tracker backend in the current version.
If you choose to enable reminders and grant notification permission, iOS may deliver local reminders at the times you configure. Reminder settings are used to schedule those notifications. You can change or disable reminders in the app and manage notification permission in iOS Settings.
You may choose to export your data as a JSON file or import a JSON backup using Apple's document-picker interface. Exported files are saved to a location you choose and are then subject to the storage provider's practices and your own device/account settings. The developer does not receive exported files. Keep backups secure because they may contain personal routine information.
Importing a backup replaces the current in-app data after confirmation. Deleting app data in the app does not delete copies of backup files you previously exported elsewhere.
In the current version, the developer does not sell or share the habit data described above with the developer's servers, advertisers, or analytics providers. The app is not designed to track you across other companies' apps or websites. No account is created.
This statement describes the current app implementation and must be re-checked before each release, including any third-party SDKs or platform integrations.
Your habit information remains in the app's local storage until you delete it in Settings or remove the app, subject to normal iOS device backups and operating-system behavior. Use Settings → Delete all local data to clear data stored by the app. You are responsible for deleting any exported backup files from Files, cloud storage, or other locations where you saved them.
Because the developer does not receive this local habit data in the current version, the developer cannot delete a copy it never receives. For privacy questions, contact davidpit2008@gmail.com.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service in the current version. If the app's intended age range or data practices change, review and update this section before release.
Local storage and iOS device security help protect the information on your device. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure. Use a device passcode and keep your device and backups under your control.
This policy may be updated when the app's functionality or data practices change. The current version and effective date will be available at the public policy URL.
